Balettakademien

Balettakademien’s Professional Dancers Course is one of Scandinavia’s leading vocational educations in dance. Many of Sweden’s leading dancers and choreographers are graduates of this three-year course and have become outstanding professionals within companies and groups presenting contemporary dance, jazz dance, commercial theatre and street dance – both in Scandinavia and abroad.

The school’s goal is to produce capable, self-reliant dancers who can succeed in a number of different styles and/or related dance fields. The latest developments in dance medicine and pedagogy are integrated into the curriculum and this has resulted in an education which is looking to the future and is prepared to incorporate change.

Balettakademien also offers three one-year, pre-professional courses; (in preparation for entrance to the Dancers Course, in street dance and in musical theatre).
